Golf Tournament Postponed

As everyone knows, the current COVID-19 outbreak has disrupted many events in the area, including fundraisers that are essential to the sustainability of area non-profits. This includes our own Dawn of Hope Golf Classic that has been held annually for 33 uninterrupted years. This year’s tournament was slated for May 4th, 2020, but Tennessee’s ban of gatherings of 10 or more people in an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 has put the event’s decades-long tradition in jeopardy. After several discussions about this year’s tournament we have decided to try and reschedule for a date later in the year. At this time no date has been set. The golf committee is currently looking at dates to potentially reschedule the tournament and hopes to have something firm soon. Dawn of Hope has already received sponsorship commitments, in-kind donations, and golfer registrations from several area businesses and individuals. We will let you know as soon as we get this rescheduled. Stay tuned, and thank you for your willingness to support Dawn of Hope!
