Walkway of Hope

The Walkway of Hope represents the legacy of many of the individuals who have been a part of the Dawn of Hope from its humble beginnings to the multi-faceted program offerings of today. The Walkway of Hope is a lasting symbol for enriching the lives of East Tennesseans with developmental disabilities and their families and a unique way to memorialize or honor a loved one.

The Dawn of Hope Foundation launched the Walkway of Hope brick sale in July 2004 as a fundraiser for to help raise $1 million to pay for the renovations to the New Dawn of Hope at Stratton building. The campaign met its goal in August of 2004 and the Foundation continues to raise money to help cover the increasing costs of providing services.

Add your brick today and help us pave the way to person-centered supports to help people pursue the life they desire including community involvement and integrated work opportunities.
