Presented by EbenConcepts, the Dawn of Hope Golf Classic fundraiser, held October 26th, 2020 at the Johnson City Country Club, grossed more than $38,000 for Dawn of Hope’s person-centered support services; which serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the Northeast Tennessee Region. This year’ tournament was in Honor of Mr. Charles “Bud” Dugger, a long-time friend of Dawn of Hope who recently passed.
Proceeds raised help to provide person-centered supports to help people pursue the life they desire including community involvement and integrated work opportunities. Support services include developing & expanding skills to gain integrated employment, exploring personal interests, assistance with being active in the community, any medical/nursing needs and 24 hour assistance in the persons’ home with basic living needs including making meals, grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, etc.
More than 200 tournament sponsors, 90 players. volunteers from HSN, and staff from Dawn of Hope helped to make this year’s event a success – THANK YOU! Dawn of Hope is truly blessed and grateful that these valued friends and businesses chose to partner with us in this very important fundraising event.
